DIRECTIONS FROM CLOSEST MAJOR CITIES
FROM ATLANTA GEORGIA
Go
North on Hwy 75 to White/Chatsworth exit. Turn Right (North)) on
Hwy
411 to Tennessee. ( This takes approx. 1 1/2 hours) Continue on 411
In
Tennessee for approx. 24 miles/ 30 min. Turn Right on Hwy 30. go 3/10ths of a mile and Turn Left into Park.
FROM CHATTANOOGA
Go North on Hwy 75 to exit 20. Turn Right at exit (this is APD 40) Travel
Approx. 8 miles to the Ocoee/Hwy. 64 east exit. Stay East on 64 for appox.
8 miles. Take the Hwy. 411 Exit and turn Left ( North) Continue on 411 for approx. 12 miles then turn Right on Hwy 30, go
3/10th of mile and turn left into the Park.
FROM KNOXVILLE
From 75 south take exit 36. Turn left from ramp. go 5 miles. Road ends
at a traffic light. Turn Right onto hwy 11. Stay on 11 only less than 1 mile. Turn Left at next traffic light onto 163. Drive
about 15 miles. This road ends at a traffic light too. Turn Right onto hwy 411 south. Stay on 411 for about a mile and turn
Left on hwy 30 east. ( this is where the road starts to narrow to 2 lanes.) Black Bear Cove is 3/10ths of mile from turn on
the Left.
FROM NORTH MURPHY N.C.
Take TN Hwy 64 through the Ocoee River Gorge. Stay on 64 until you come to the BIG dam and
turn right on hwy 314. Stay on 314 until it dead ends at Hwy 411. Turn right on 411 for approx 7 miles. Turn Right on Hwy
30 and go 3/10ths of mile then turn left into the park.
****If
you do NOT have really big rig and want a more scenic ride turn right onto hwy 30 from 64 just after the river gorge. Drive
approx. 17 miles and turn right into the park. This is a very winding road but it is a really pretty drive.******
